Happy (Not My ) Presidents' Day weekend! We hope you are finding some ways to unplug, rejuvenate and enjoy! Self-care is so important in these difficult times.
A huge thank you to the nearly 300 people who attended our Virtual Membership meeting on Wednesday. It was gratifying to have some many people in community together. Your comments in the chat, and via the post-meeting feedback form were very affirming about our current strategy for 2025.
Here is a link to the recording of the meeting, for those of you who missed it, or for those of you who attended and would like to share it with others. Forwarding this email would be an easy way to share with your personal networks.
A key emphasis of the meeting was to outline our current focus on being a resource for our members as you take action in the fight to protect our democracy and the American people from the harms of the current Administration. In these challenging times, many of us are experiencing understandable frustration and even despair. Many are asking, "What MORE can be done to stop the destructive actions of the current Administration?" While there are no easy answers, we encourage our members to focus on one or two specific actions to take each day that resonate for them.
We have re-designed our website as a “roadmap” for each of you in your personal activism journey. We encourage everyone to review all of the pages of our website and use it as an ongoing source of information for the ways in which you decide to take action. It will be continually updates as new information and links become available.
Thanks to all of you for your ongoing commitment to our country, our democracy and the welfare of all Americans.
