Depending on where you are and what you are doing, “May Day” can be a celebration of spring, a holiday dedicated to organized labor, or a radio distress call.
This date is fitting for our next membership meeting as the IndiMarin Leadership Team would like to address the multi-layered dimensions of the current political environment and ways that we all can contribute toward a more just, caring and inclusive America.
During the meeting, we will cover what we see as positive developments in the Resistance and in the Democrats' developing response to the threats of the current Administration.
We will also cover a range of programs and opportunities for IndiMarin members to be actively engaged in the fight to protect our democracy, freedoms and rights. While there is a high level of focus on protests currently, much of the crucial work can be done individually from home. Our goal is to provide all of you, regardless of where you live, with a range of options to maximize your impact in these challenging times.
We will have time at the end of the call for Q&A at end of the meeting and will stay on past the hour, as needed, to answer questions. SIGN UP!
