announcing our 12/15 All-Member Virtual Meeting!

As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to THANK YOU for being such amazing warriors for democracy! For every phone call, door knock, postcard, text and donation that you made, THANK YOU! Although we didn’t achieve the victory for which we had dearly hoped, the results would have been far worse without our intensive efforts.

Despite our loss at the top of the ticket, we prevented the Republican House majority from increasing, putting us in a strong position to reclaim control in the midterms when the President's party traditionally struggles. We also retained control of half of the Senate seats targeted by Republicans, creating a tight margin for the incoming Republican majority, and saw minimal change of party control in down ballot elections. We deserve to feel proud of our efforts and know that they will make a positive difference in the lives of Americans.

While many volunteers, ourselves included, needed some time to rest and regroup after the disappointment of the election, we are already hearing from our members that they're ready to get to work. And that's exactly what we're doing! "We the People" at IndiMarin are in this for the long game.

In that spirit, we hope you will join our Leadership Team on Sunday, December 15, at 4pm PT/7pm ET via Zoom for an all-member meeting, "Election Reflections and Next Steps."
Sign up here.

We'll gather to reflect on and applaud on all that we accomplished together in 2024. We'll provide specifics about the races on which we worked and the results. We'll also talk about IndiMarin's initial thinking about next steps. The specifics are still a work-in-progress and will remain so for another couple of months as we monitor developments with the incoming Administration and new Congress. But we DO know that we will continue to work toward our ongoing mission: "Taking action to help build a more just, caring and inclusive America." At the meeting, we will share with you our early thoughts on the next phase of our work together.

One thing is perfectly clear - we have power when we act collectively and in community.

We hope to see you on the 12/15 and look forward to working with you in the ongoing fight to protect America's democracy and personal freedoms. Sign up here.
