While many volunteers, ourselves included, needed some time to rest and regroup after the disappointment of the election, we are already hearing from our members that they're ready to get to work. And that's exactly what we're doing! "We the People" at IndiMarin are in this for the long game.
Let's gather to review, reflect upon, and applaud all that we accomplished together in 2024. Although we didn’t get the ultimate victory for which we had dearly hoped, had we done less, the results would have been far worse. We helped curtail even greater GOP majorities in the House and Senate which is important and impactful. We deserve to feel proud of our efforts and know that they will still make a difference.
We'll also talk about IndiMarin's initial thinking about next steps. While much is still a work-in-progress and will remain so for another couple of months as we monitor political developments, we know that we will continue to work toward our mission: Taking action to help build a more just, caring and inclusive America. We share with you our early thoughts on the next phase of our work together.
